PLATYPUS SURVEY Sunday 9 Sept - Register NOW!

TRY SOMETHING NEW!

BECOME A PLATY-WATCHER !

How about joining a specialised group of volunteers for our annual MCCG Platypus Survey?

No special skills required; just a PASSION for protecting these special and elusive mammals!

The survey, which is an integral MCCG event. starts at 4.30am SHARP on SUNDAY 9 SEPTEMBER at the BROOKFIELD STORE. It will run for about 3 hours.

Apart from the excitement of possibly spotting a platypus, you will be surprised at how much other wildlife is around and in the creek in the quiet of the early morning.

You'll have the satisfaction of participating in a valuable and respected scientific research project.

And you will be given a free cooked breakfast as an added benefit!

Register for this rewarding and unusual experience by Friday 31 August by sending an email to:  c.hosking@uq.edu.au

To learn more about being involved, take a look at this year's flyer.

We also have information about previous sightings on our Platypus Survey page. You may be surprised how many platypus are thriving in our urban environment.

And you can also join our Platypus Survey Facebook group.
